November

I’m happy to report that our Weston board and Col Stephens Way signage are still untouched by vandals after nearly two years.

We’re now well on the way to a board for Clevedon, and already have a grant towards the cost from Clevedon Town Council.

The newly  installed and unveiled Portishead interpretation board. The board was unveiled this morning (29 October) in bright sunshine by local BBC weather girl Jemma Cooper before a good sized crowd of WC&P Railway Group members and members of Portishead in Bloom, and a few others.

It appears to be massive! The mysterious benefactor has apparently coughed up £0.5 million towards it.

Febuary

The 'Porthole Bug Box' at Boston Lodge. The CSS donated to the paint fund. Its finished in CS Green but I suspect a little finer than the Colonel would have ever seen. The carriage has taken its place in the Heritage Fleet and will be prominent in the several Steam 150 events this coming summer.

January

"Severn". I scratchbuilt the loco for a friend in 2005 and he has just returned it to me for potential use on my new layout.

I painted it but my friend added the lettering - I'm not sure about that. He wouldn't let me weather it either.
